Q1. What information is being collected? A1. We may require a customer’s contact details such as name, address, telephone number and email address.
Q2. Who is collecting the data? A2. The data is collected by our staff members.
Q3. How is it collected? A3. The data is given to us, by you the customer over the phone, email or in person.
Q4. Why is the data being collected and how will it be used? A4. The data is collected for a number of reasons:
Training and Learning. Truagh Development Association Ltd keeps a record of who is attending a certain course. This is to calculate how many people are attending a certain course and to let the customer know when the course is running, or, if it is cancelled, postponed or change of venue.
Home Meal Delivery. We also collect data for the Home Meal Delivery Service, this is so we know who has ordered a meal, on what date and to the address the meal is to be delivered.
School Dinners. We need to know if any children have any type of food allergies.
Homecare. Our homecare support nurse needs to know who she is visiting on a daily basis. We also keep an emergency contact phone number in case an issue arises. This data is kept by our Support Staff and will be deleted / erased after the customer has ended their need for this service.
Q5. Who will the information be shared with? A5. For Training and Learning, Our data may be shared with the Cavan and Monaghan Education and Training Board (CMETB). The CMETB run some of the courses we provide and they need to know who is attending their courses. For the Home Meal Delivery service, we only pass the details on to the kitchen and delivery staff. These are all “in house” personnel and these details are never passed on to a third party. For School Dinners, we only pass the details on to the kitchen staff who prepare the meals. These are “in house” personnel and these details are never passed on to a third party. For the Homecare Service, any private or personnel information is purely between our Homecare staff and the individual. No information is passed on to anybody, which includes other staff members of Truagh Development Association Ltd.
Q6. What will the effect of this on the individuals concerned? A6. There will be no effect on any of the individuals concerned.
Q7. Is the intended use likely to cause individuals to object or complain? A7. No. We only gather information to inform our customers of any changes to a course that they are currently signed up to. Or use the information for delivery of meals or any allergy requirements of meals.
